For our first episode of Pillow Talk, I popped over to Lucy’s flat in Aro Valley where there were some seriously cosy bedroom vibes going on

Back in August, Christchurch-born Lucy Botting dropped her first guitar-pop banger, Mrs. Doubtfire, under the aptly named Girlboss. Lucy, who used to play in duo Wet Wings, felt it was about time she got to be in charge. With her distinctively gentle voice and honest lyrics, Girlboss paints a picture of strength through softness and femininity. Although the project is still in its infancy, Lucy and her bandmates have already played a handful of shows around Wellington, including supporting Yumi Zuma.
